WORK WITH JOLENE

Lived-Experience, Mentoring & Peer Support

Sometimes the most useful conversation is with someone who has been there. Jolene offers private Zoom sessions, family consultations, small-group programs, and educational conversations grounded in her own lived experience with gambling addiction and recovery—not as a therapist or clinician, but as someone who understands from the inside.

SESSION FORMATS

Ways to work together

All sessions are conducted via Zoom. Jolene reviews every inquiry personally.

For individuals

Private Zoom mentoring

One-on-one, by appointment

A private conversation for individuals navigating gambling harm or early recovery. Jolene shares what she learned through her own experience — what helped, what didn't, and what she wishes she had known. These are honest, unhurried conversations, not clinical sessions.

For families and loved ones

Family consultations

One-on-one or with a partner, by appointment

A conversation for spouses, parents, adult children, or close friends trying to understand what their loved one is going through and how to respond. Jolene speaks from the perspective of someone who lived through addiction — and whose family lived through it too.

For small groups

Small-group Zoom sessions

Up to 8 participants, by arrangement

A facilitated conversation for small groups — peer support circles, recovery communities, family groups, or workplace wellness cohorts. Grounded in lived experience and designed to open honest conversation about gambling harm, recovery, and what support can look like.

For organizations

Educational programs

Custom format, by arrangement

Structured educational conversations for organizations, community groups, or professional teams who want to build understanding of gambling harm from a lived-experience perspective. Can be delivered as a single session or a short series.

THE APPROACH

What to expect

Honest and unhurried

Jolene brings her full attention to every conversation. There is no script, no sales pitch, and no pressure to share more than you are ready to.

Grounded in lived experience

Everything Jolene shares comes from her own experience — not from a textbook or a training program. That means she can speak to the parts of gambling addiction that are hardest to explain to someone who hasn't been there.

Complementary to professional support

These conversations work best alongside — not instead of — professional support. Jolene will always encourage you to connect with clinical resources when that is what you need.
